The following allows subscribers to view and add threads and posts to the blog. As a brief explanation of how this works - the "blog" is broken into several categories. Each category may contain zero to many "threads". And each thread contains zero to many "posts" (or replies). The heirarchy is as follows: Blog > Category > Thread > Post (reply) .
